To build awareness of Frida’s postpartum care line in the UK, we started with a powerful cultural truth: public monuments reflect what society values. Yet across London, women remain largely absent from this landscape—and representations of motherhood are rarer still.

Frida, the brand rewriting the language of parenthood, set out to change that by creating a monument that placed mothers where they have always belonged: on a pedestal.

Standing seven feet tall, Mother Vérité was unveiled outside the iconic Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital—a landmark associated with generations of high-profile births. In a city where just 4% of statues depict women, the sculpture gave motherhood a monumental and unapologetically public presence.

Following the unveiling, Mother Vérité took center stage at an intimate gathering at The Magazine at Serpentine Galleries, bringing together influential tastemakers, cultural leaders, media and friends of the brand. She then made her public debut in Portman Square during Frieze Art Fair, placing Frida at the heart of one of London’s most important cultural moments.

The installation extended Frida’s legacy of cultural disruption—from bringing lactation and C-section recovery to primetime television to launching Frida Uncensored. By giving motherhood a place in the public landscape, Frida helped cement it in the cultural record as something worthy of being seen, honored and celebrated..
